Sign the pledge to protect dolphins and other marine mammals

No marine mammal should be taken from the wild and confined for entertainment or display. Removing animals from their natural habitats for display can cause lasting harm to individuals, disrupt family groups and impact wild populations.

Life in captivity is no substitute for life in their natural environment. Confined to small enclosures, marine mammals are deprived of the space, stimulation and social bonds they need to thrive, often experiencing stress and expressing abnormal behaviors as a result.

Add your name to the pledge below and help create a future where whales, dolphins and other marine mammals are not captured from their natural environments to live a life in captivity for profit.

Your pledge

I pledge to stand for a future where whales, dolphins and other marine mammals are never captured from the wild and confined to captivity for profit.

I believe these intelligent, sentient animals deserve to live freely in their natural habitats, not be taken for entertainment, display or other captive uses. I support efforts to end the capture of dolphins and other marine mammals from the wild and to protect their habitats and populations.

By taking this pledge, I affirm that I will use my voice to raise awareness, support humane alternatives and advocate for policies that prevent the capture of marine mammals for profit.
