End greyhound racing
Greyhound racing is still legal in a handful of countries, causing thousands of dogs around the world to suffer for this cruel industry.
Behind the races is a global animal welfare crisis. Greyhounds are bred into the industry each year, and unwanted dogs may be abandoned or subjected to cruel methods of disposal. Dogs who remain in the industry can be forced to live in cramped crates, pens or fenced enclosures, often with little opportunity to experience the loving homes and companionship they deserve.
Every year, thousands of dogs suffer serious injuries and hundreds die while racing. And when their racing careers end, many face an uncertain future simply because they are no longer considered profitable.
Commercial greyhound racing is still legal and happening in countries that include Australia, Ireland and Northern Ireland, England and the United States.
