Wednesday, August 27 | Our Animal Rescue Team is in Maryland today rescuing more than 100 dogs from alleged neglect at a breeding operation. Many were found in stacked wire-bottom cages without apparent access to food or water. Several are severely matted with feces in their coats, and some are suffering from dehydration, infections and painful abscesses. With so many dogs on site, their needs are overwhelming, and they are depending on us for immediate and urgent care.
We never know where disasters will strike or when animals may be in need of urgent rescue, but we know we must be ready. Our preparedness, rescue, care and relief efforts are just one part of our critical work for all animals. Along with helping animals in emergency situations, your generous gift makes a difference in the lives of other animals, including those enduring the cruelties of factory farming, laboratory testing, trophy hunting, puppy mills and so much more.
You can help save animals in need and stop all forms of animal cruelty. Please give today.
