Thursday, August 28| Our Animal Rescue Team deployed to rescue more than 100 dogs from alleged neglect at a breeding operation in Maryland. Many of the dogs were found in stacked wire-bottom cages without apparent access to food or water. Several are extremely thin and in obvious pain from dental infections, eye conditions and abscesses. These dogs were scared, sick, suffering and in need of immediate veterinary care. 

We never know where disasters will strike or when animals may be in need of urgent rescue, but we know we must be ready. Our preparedness, rescue, care and relief efforts are just one part of our critical work for all animals.
